Essent serves over 2.5 million customers who reach out to us via phone, email, and chat with questions about the energy market, their energy contracts, or their energy bills. We also provide advice on reducing energy consumption and making their homes or businesses more sustainable. Our customer advisors are ready to assist our clients from one of our own call centers at our headquarters in Den Bosch and our office in Zwolle. Our customer advisors are committed to ensuring the satisfaction of Essent and energiedirect customers, especially during these turbulent times in the energy sector.

Striving for the Best Customer Service

We put the customer first. As a customer advisor, you will have direct contact with new and existing customers every day, striving to serve them as well as possible: answering questions promptly, advising on energy contract options and energy-saving solutions, and sometimes just providing a listening ear. You have a friendly demeanor, excellent listening skills, a commercial mindset, and most importantly, you do everything you can to help the customer effectively.

You’ll work with a diverse team of great colleagues. In return, you will receive a competitive salary and flexible working hours, with the option to work from home if you prefer. Additionally, you can take advantage of various free training sessions and courses, such as those in customer communication.

Are you up for it? Essent is always looking for skilled customer advisors, including students, starters, and experienced professionals, for our in-house call centers in Zwolle and Den Bosch. Depending on your work experience, you may initially work on a temporary contract through YoungCapital or Susa before potentially transitioning to a permanent position with Essent.
