You will engage with the E.ON Security Group, colleague security officers in the other relevant business units and ensures an actionable set of guidelines for the DevOps teams is present and kept up-to-date and verifies that it is executed.

• Design general and domain specific Cybersecurity guidelines that can be used in the design, run and change of IT systems
• Leading the team of Security experts in operating the Cybersecurity platform
• Determine the impact of portfolio management’s decisions on the security of the landscape
• Responsible for the scheduling and execution of frequent internal security assessments on systems and solutions in the IT landscape
• Ensure the security guidelines are known and used
• Coaches the DevOps teams in understanding guidelines through training and support
• Define security automation requirements

• Academic work and thinking level (BSc.) with background in business informatics, computer science or equivalent technical education, preferably with specialty in (cyber) security.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in security risk management in an enterprise setting, preferably within an energy/utilities organization.
• Able to communicate effectively in English and Dutch.
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of security governance and risk concepts and principles as a means of relating business needs to security controls. Desirable to have IT security Certifications (CISM, CISSP, CCSP, GSEC, SABSA, Security+ etc.) and ITIL Certifications.
• Know how to evaluate measures in terms of assessing risk to reach realistic mitigation and risk-balanced choices.
• Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley, Information Security standards, rules and regulations and European data privacy legislation.
• The ability to prioritize tasks in a sometimes highly demanding environment, strong attention to detail and a flair for research and analysis.
• Demonstrable ability to interact, develop, engineer, and communicate collaboratively at the highest technical levels with clients, vendors, partners, and all levels of Essent staff.
