• Develop and safeguard the company-wide Cyber Security Strategy for Essent
• Provide functional leadership to the information security organization across all our entitiesImplement E.ON’s security policies and standards within Essent
• Bring clarity and cohesion to the security activities of more than 60 companies
• Lead security programs, audits, and awareness initiatives
• Advise the executive board, regulators, and group-wide bodies on risk acceptance and compliance
• Represent Essent in international governance structures and public-private partnerships

We’re looking for team players and go-getters who want to make the Netherlands a bit more sustainable. Who look at what is possible now. Today. To bring us closer to tomorrow. You recognise yourself in this and in the following:

• You are a connector with vision, able to position security as a strategic and business-critical topic
• Academic working and thinking level (IT, Security or similar). Certifications such as CISM and/or CISSP are a plus
• At least 7 years of experience in cybersecurity, including several years at CISO or ISO level
• Knowledge of governance and compliance frameworks such as ISO/IEC 27001, NIS2, PG05
• Experience in complex, decentralized organizations
• Strong leadership qualities and experience in change management
• You have experience in application development. Experience with (i)OT is a plus
• Excellent command of Dutch and English (German is a plus)
