Scrum Master

In IT Delivery we build and run software for our customers. Our teams need to deliver solutions to customers in increments, but they also need to make sure these solutions are available in production. This requires ownership, making bold decisions as a team, and communicating well. You help them getting better at this.

Job description

Only together can we take the next step in energy. As a Scrum Master, you are the expert in your field in:

  • Improving effective cooperation in the DevOps team, and collaboration with multiple teams in case of dependencies
  • Providing knowledge, training and learning experiences to improve the way of working, following the Scrum, Kanban, Agile, SAFe and DevOps practices
  • Facilitating scrum events of the teams, and events that take place in the ART and cross ART,
  • Coaching the team and PO to grow their maturity, self-organization skills, responsibility and autonomy,
  • Fixing impediments and killing waste experienced by teams,
  • Close collaboration with the RTE in finding and solving impediments. Teaching teams how to fix impediments within their own circle of influence. In case of process related impediments the scrum master needs to ensure it will be solved,
  • Acting as a counterpart of the PO in the improvement process that takes place and around the teams.
  • Being involved in continuous improvement that takes place based on hypothesis, facts & metrics so improvements are fact based.
  • Collaborating and aligning with the Agile Coaches in cross-team and cross-ART improvements and resolving waste.

You are Essent

  • Academic work and thinking level (Bsc.)
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in an Agile IT environment. Experience with SAFe and Lean.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills able to be impactful with people, teams and ART’s. Ability to empathize with people while driving them to constantly improve.

Furthermore, you are eager to learn and improve, focus on results and how to achieve them (both in process and in behavior) and last but not least self-reflective and teaching by example.
