SAP ABAP Developer

Energy moves you

As an SAP ABAP Developer, you are part of an agile team and responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality SAP solutions. You translate business needs into robust technical solutions within SAP S/4HANA. Your tasks include:

  • Developing, testing, and implementing SAP ABAP programs, SAP Fiori Apps, ABAP Core Data Services (CDS views), and Open Data Protocol (OData services). 
  • Debugging and optimizing existing programs 
  • Collaborating with functional consultants and other developers 
  • Contributing to the stability and performance of the SAP landscape
You are Essent

We are looking for team players and doers who want to contribute to a more sustainable tomorrow starting today. You recognize yourself in the following profile:

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in an SAP Developer role.
  • Expert-level proficiency in ABAP programming, with a strong emphasis on object-oriented development using ABAP Objects.
  • Proven experience with modern SAP UI and service technologies, including SAP Fiori, CDS Views, and OData services.
  • Demonstrated ability in system integration utilizing methods such as BAPIs, RFCs, and OData.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA and a solid understanding of underlying SAP database concepts.
  • Experience with other programming languages or AWS is a plus.
