As Senior Sales Developer you are responsible for launching CES in the Netherlands, a business focused on sustainable heating and cooling infrastructure solutions. To be succesfull in this role you need good understanding of the English and Dutch language as well as a network in relevant CES stakeholders.

E.ON has a well-established City Energy Solution (CES) business in four core markets in Europe. Since Essent has joined the E.ON group, Essent and E.ON have joint forces to expand this business to the Netherlands, focusing on heating and cooling infrastructure solutions. In this collaboration Essent brings more than hundred years of experience in the Dutch energy market and has a nationwide network of service partners, while E.ON has the expertise to develop innovative sustainable infrastructure solutions. Together we will challenge the status quo of the heating and cooling sector.

We make it happen by performing better each day than the last. You’ll take responsibility as a Senior Sales Developer CES for:

  • Sales development & Operation, based on your experience and well established network in the heating and cooling infrastructure sector you determine & develop accounts for Essent from new customer acquisition status to established long-term customer and provide regular update on sales activities for Top Management
  • Proposal management, you define feasibility, concepts and offers to acceptance levels of risks and returns in response to customer information and/or tenders to ensure only project that a viable are pursued.
  • Expert knowledge, you keep yourself updated and ahead of technology, commercial and innovation development relevant to the heating and cooling market to ensue solutions meet the market requirement to digitalization, sustainability and cost parameters.

You will join a small, international and dedicated team that is focused on making this business a success in the Netherlands which is supported by the experts within E.ON as well as other business unites within Essent.

  • 5+ years of experience as a sales & business developer, having a relevant network in the area of CES or related business.

  • an extensive network in the central heating and cooling domain within municipalities and real estate developers
  • a proven track record in complex sales acquisitions and know-how on closing the deal
  • experience in sales and setting up partnerships between multiple parties
  • an entrepreneurial spirit, hands-on approach, taking ownership and initiative
  • excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills
  • Fluently Dutch and English is a must in this role
