Together with  E.ON, we are developing new business around innovative hydrogen solutions in the Netherlands. We are leveraging E.ON’s extensive experience across Europa. and Essent’s strength as the number one energy retailer with more than hundred years of experience in the Dutch energy market,with a nationwide network of service partners that install sustainable solutions and provide energy advise.

We make it happen by performing better each day than the last. Your responsibilities are:

  • You assess and evaluate business opportunities in the area of complex energy projects – with a focus on hydrogen – regarding technical and commercial aspects, partnerships and ensuring a fit with our strategy
  • You acquire new customers and develop hydrogen solutions in close collaboration with our customers and our team 
  • You successfully drive the projects from the (pre-) sales phase to the  implementation 
  • You make good use of your experiences in the context of funding, energy markets, procurement and investment to optimize our projects 
  • You develop partnerships, networks and customer relationships to successfully develop, realise and implement solutions
  • You are our contact to potential customers, to relevant stakeholders within the E.ON group as well as to external service providers and partners.

  • Completed a study in the field of technical, business or natural science. Bachelor and preferably Masters degree  
  • In-depth knowledge and several years of experience in business development or project planning preferably in the area of energy management, (decentralized) energy generation or technical gases 
  • You have extensive experiences in one of the following industries and act as expert for this towards your colleagues: steel, chemicals, refineries, heavy transportation 
  • You gained experience in the context of funding acquisition, preparation of investment decisions, system design and energy procurement optimization ideally 
  • You take the initiative and actively drive your topics forward by setting the right priorities 
  • You are an enthusiastic networker and enjoy working together and exchanging ideas with colleagues across company boundaries. You have strong sales and consulting skills.
