As Director Energy Infrastructure Solutions (EIS) and Country Head NL, you will lead the triple digit growth with a team of highly committed professionals. You will scale the business and hence, drive the achievements of EIS Mid Term Planning objectives including EBIT, GM, Revenue and Contracted Profit. You are ‘thought leader’ of sustainable energy infrastruc-ture solutions topics, product development and management of existing products, HSSE and construction / operational performance objectives.

The Job

Taking the next step in energy is something that can only be done by working together and taking ownership. You'll drive innovation and solutions for a dynamic market of energy infrastructure solutions, continuously develop your team and strategy, and interface with top management.

We’re looking for team players and go-getters who want to make the Netherlands more sustainable. With strong stakeholder management you recognize yourself in this and in the following:

  • Leading the scale up and the development of the EIS business in the Netherlands (including possible M&A ambitions)
  • Broaden the portfolio from collective cooling / heating solutions towards inte-grated energy solutions (incl. heating/cooling, solar / EV charging )
  • Lead and inspire the EIS Team via the leadership team: Manager Design & Build, the New Business/ Commercial Managers and the Manager Operations.

The main tasks and responsibilities include:

  • Be an inspirational and visionary leader
  • Drive sales - project pipeline, among others by building on your existing network, that contributes to MTP financial objectives
  • Business development, Product development and product management
  • Further shape the EIS organization for scaling : be able to attract, develop and retain talent as well as to lead and motivate people
  • HSSE (Health, Safety, Security and Environment) accountability for EIS
  • Lead interaction with E.ON group EIS team as required on behalf of the NL EIS business
Jij bent Essent

This role is the ideal opportunity for a Director with a vast network in the Dutch heating/cooling, development and build sectors, and experience in a complex technical program driven and international environment.

Furthermore this position requires an individual who can inspirationally lead and manage a team, as well as develop and execute strategies in a dynamic market environment. Strong analytical skills, stakeholder management, technical management, commercial drive and understanding of the Dutch energy market and supplier markets are necessary for success in this role.

Additionally, the ideal candidate should have experience in leading teams, managing change, possess a relevant network in the Dutch industry and have strong communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.

The formal education / professional experience required for the job include:

  • Academic degree with a profound knowledge and proven track record of sales / operations of (energy) infrastructure solutions (or similar industries)
  • 7 -10 years relevant leadership experience in similar roles including successfully driv-ing and scaling market entries as well as developing new business.
  • International experience in the energy (infrastructure) sector is a pre

The competencies / other qualifications required for the job include:

  • People management skills in scaling up business
  • Assertiveness, tolerance to stress, resilience
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and team building skills to master initial team set-up as well as envisaged integration of M&A target – English is a must, Dutch a clear advantage
