Product Owner System Team

Providing DevOps teams the building blocks, insights, metrics and platforms they need to drive the digital energy business.

With the mindset of a team player, and the determination of a true entrepreneur, your role as a Product Owner System Team involves taking responsibility for:

  • Managing the Enabler Vision describing the purpose of the products and what the product aims to achieve for users
  • Building the roadmap for System- or Cloud team providing new services and tools for DevOps teams
  • Building, managing and prioritizing the backlog of the System Team and setting and managing the systems SLA’s
  • Enabling all DevOps teams to increase the deployment frequency and reduce the lead time for changes and also reduce change failure rate.
  • Managing the relationship in terms of financials, prioritization and progress with the Product Owners working in IT Delivery

You'll join the IT team in the Shared Services department. You actively engage with RTEs, System Engineers and teams to ensure the services fit their purpose and are compliant with the policies and guidelines. You are a the (servant) leader of a DevOps team and an ambassador for your products.

  • Academic background (BSc.) with degree in Business, Engineering, Technology, or related combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 6 years of product, project, or program management or minimum of 8 years of experience managing infrastructure or (automation) platform teams.
  • Experience with cloud services that are part of AWS, or Azure platforms. And experience with container platforms and container orchestration
  • Experience with version control system (Gitlab), continuous integration and security testing and automated deployment tools
  • Working-level knowledge of Agile, SAFe and DevOps practices.
  • Able to communicate in English fluently. Dutch is important and German a plus. Able to work with various cultures.

You’re in top form. A real member of the Essent team in heart and soul, who works shoulder to shoulder for a single goal. You also have a minimum of 3 years’ experience of managing a Product or equivalent roles.
