You will support a wide set of commercial activities and will be responsible for providing hourly updates of prices for customer pricing, providing market information, operating the live pricing platform and ensuring that resulting positions are accurately captured and hedged. Next to the customer trading activities, you will support the team in operations includes nominations, trading and short-term forecasting.

With the mindset of a team player, and the determination of a true entrepreneur, your role as an Energy Trader involves taking responsibility for:

• Providing price updates and operate the live pricing platform where we trade with customers
• Ensuring positions are correctly captured and coordinating with the senior Traders on hedging the resulting positions
• Supporting operations from day-ahead exchange biddings and scheduling to nominations, running these according to regulations and agreements. This includes running operations in weekends according to rota
• Adhering to all compliance and regulatory conditions, including Market Abuse Regulations, TSO conditions, REMIT, EMIR, exchange regulations and the Essent risk policy.

• HBO or University degree, for example in business economics or energy, or proven operating on this level
• minimum of 2 years of experience as junior trader, working in highly regulated environment, with proven capabilities in (energy) trading or energy operations or similar branche.
• the ability to speak and write Dutch and English fluently
• commercial attitude in a result driven environment.
